During the years 2010 - 2011 the chairman of Bilma Foundation established a research in Ethiopia as a Master’s in International Development Studies at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands. For this reason consent was asked and allowed at the Hawassa University and the Regional Health Bureau to perform a research study in the Southern State SNNPR. At the same time cooperation was asked from the Ethiopian Statistical Bureau (Central Statistic Agency) in Addis Ababa.

\n an area of 105.476 Km2, and 16.276.417 inhabitants (in the year 2011).
